Lobbying and Advocacy

AWEIK collaborates with a myriad of stakeholders including governments, private sector, academia, development partners and communities to develop and implement inclusive policies, legislation and strategies that advance a sustainable, responsible, and inclusive energy and extractives sectors. Through targeted lobbying, advocacy, and policy engagement, AWEIK amplifies collective voices on sector issues, including bills, policies, and regulations through webinars, roundtables, and dialogues that bring all stakeholders. Partnerships with networks such as AWIMA, Haki Madini, Tax Justice Network Africa, Nairobi Climate Network, IWIM among others further support equitable participation and inclusive growth across energy and extractives value chains.
