“Awakening Women’s Potential in the Energy and Extractives sectors”

The Association for Women in Energy and Extractives in Kenya (AWEIK) empowers women to achieve equitable professional and economic growth in Kenya’s extractives industry. Founded in 2016, AWEIK champions inclusivity by fostering women’s active participation across the Energy and Extractives value chains through policy advocacy and lobbying, capacity building, and business development services.
