Where We Work

AWEIK works with women and communities across Kenya to advance inclusive participation in the energy and extractives sectors. Nationally, our programs engage women and communities in nine counties: Narok, Kakamega, Kwale, Taita Taveta, Migori, Kisii, Kitui, Turkana, and Nairobi, reflecting the diversity of Kenya’s extractives and energy landscapes.

Regionally and globally, AWEIK collaborates with strategic partners, institutions, and networks across Africa to strengthen women’s leadership, expand access to opportunities, and promote sustainable and responsible practices across energy and extractives value chains.
