AWEIK Membership
The Association of Women in Energy and Extractives in Kenya (“AWEIK”) is a nation-wide organization that aims to connect women in Kenya with professional and business opportunities in the extractives value-chain through fostering relationships and sharing knowledge and experience.
Membership is open to individuals, companies, firms or other organisations engaged in extractives activities (large scale, small and medium scale and/or artisanal), business activities, professional services, academia or education in the extractives industries and/or extractives value chains (goods and services) and who are either women, or who are actively involved in the sponsorship and/or promotion of women in the extractives sector as follows:
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
MEMBERSHIP: USD 2,000.00
- International Oil and Gas Company or Mining Corporation.
- Local office in Kenya.
- The membership secures above Twenty (20) Individual Company Memberships.
BENEFITS:
- The collaborative effort to put down systems that will increase the diversity, inclusion and uptake and retention of women by the company.
- Participation at AWEIK’s Annual General Meeting and other Association Events.
- Profiling on AWEIK’s website on the strides of the women agenda at the Company.
- To facilitate access to different opportunities such as financing for women led and women owned business to be able to work alongside the company.
- 10% discounted rates on AWEIK Events.
- Monthly Subscription to AWEIK e- newsletters.
MEMBERSHIP: USD 1,000.00
- International Oil and Gas Company or Mining Corporation.
- Local Office in Kenya.
- The membership secures at least Ten (10) Individual Company Memberships.

- Small and Medium Enterprise in the Oil, Gas, Mining and Developmental Minerals Sector.
- Local Office in Kenya.
- The membership secure at least Five (5) Individual Company Memberships.
