It underscores the importance of advancing rights, promoting equality, and empowering women and girls to actively participate in shaping a sustainable future. By aligning with this theme, AWEIK reinforces its commitment to bridging the gaps and ensuring that no woman or girl is left behind in the journey toward equitable opportunities and representation- in the energy an extractives space.
Gender equality can never be achieved if we sit on the sidelines. We must actively challenge biases and dismantle barriers that hinder women’s inclusion in the energy and extractives sectors. True progress requires bold action, commitment, and collective effort. Let’s accelerate the pace of change!
